Family and Consumer Science 8 pds. 7&8-
** I am aiming to have ch. 23 test on Friday. I will be reviewing material for the test on Thursday if we can get through the material in time, if we do not the test will be postponed until next week.
9/9: Review Ch. 23.1 w.s.'s at the begining of class. Begining ppt/ notes on Ch. 23.2.
9/8: Students completed ppt. and notes for Ch. 23.1 Lifespan Development, students were given w.s.'s from the workbook pages 156 and 157. Those that did not finish w.s.'s in class are expected to complete them for h.w. We will be reviewing them in class.
9/1 & 9/3: Review syllabus, getting to know you handout
9/4: Students will begin Chapter 23 Lesson 1
Students will view slide show and take notes on Lifespan Development
Students will complete w.s.'s 156 and 157 from Managing Life Skills workbook
**If you are absent I will have notes on the lesson and copies of the w.s.'s for you
Family and Consumer Science 9-12 pds. 2&9-
9/9: Prd. 2- Students will begin researching different colleges, trade schools that interest them and see what their requirements are. They will also be researching different scholarship opportunities.
Prd. 9: Review the steps in the college application process. Show what different schools expect/ need from students. Have students begin brainstorming what schools they are interested in.
9/8: Prd. 2- Students reviewed steps in the college application process. They have a general idea on how to prepare for the application process and what they should expect in their senior year, as well as what they should focus on in different months. We also viewed Edinboro universities checklist for what the students need if they were going to apply to college at Edinboro.
Prd. 9: Students are behind due to a shorter class period, and not having school last Wednesday. Today we completed the ppt on managing finances and worked on the balancing finances w.s. We will finish the w.s. in class first thing on 9/9.
